Injury stated that after doing an inspection on a 20lb fire extinguisher, she was returing it to the bracket; at which time the T- bracket snapped back and hit her right thumb. She also stated her thumb was sore, but she did not notify her supervisor until the next shift. She then went to the doctor on Friday because it was still bothering her.
