## Narrative

Employee was offloading steel plates from a forklift onto a float. The employee grabbed the first of the 2 plates and slid the plate off of the pallet and onto the float. This caused the 2nd plate to shift and slide off of the pallet as well. The 2nd plate landed on top of the plate the employee was holding. The employee's left thumb was caught between the two plates.
