EE was struck by the handle of bolt cutters, which pinched his finger between the handle and the steel kick plate of the scissor deck unit that he was working beside. The bolt cutters had been tossed onto the bed by the miner but bounced off a bucket nearby. EE was struck by the rebound of the bolt cutters.
