## Narrative

The injured employee was helping put up a traffic sign.  The sign post shifted and struck him on the outside of the knee.  He was evaluated by a physician on 9/23/09 and was given a release to return to work.   He was later seen by an orthopedic physician who diagnosis a torn meniscus.   The employee underwent arthroscopic surgery on 10/27/09 making the incident reportable.
