EE was cleaning the work area at the time of the accident and while placing scrap conduit in the dumpster, a piece of 2"" conduit hit the tip edge and bounced back against EE's ring finger on his left hand, causing the injury. The finger swelled and became bruised and later that evening EE had it x-rayed and it was confirmed the finger was broken just below the first knuckle.
