Narrative

Employee was switching a sealed sulfuric acid injection system, a rupture occurred in the line exposing her to a sulfuric spray. First aid was given by a safety shower for 20 min. Employee was transported to the hospital where first aid treatment was administered by a Dr. This injury is FIRST AID TREATMENT ONLY. Should medical treatment be needed later, report will be amended.
