## Narrative

The employee was loading roof mats on the back of a roof bolter.  The mats were being slid into position on the machine.  The mats stopped suddenly causing one of the mats to slice through the employee's glove lacerating the middle finger of the right hand.  He was transported to the ER where he received 5 stitches.  The employee returned to work to complete his regular shift.
