## Narrative

EE said he was positioning a chain break on the conveyor chain of company #46 shuttle car to separate the chain to repair it. While placing the chain break on  chain, it became wedged on  chain. Injured ee placed his hands under it to remove and reposition it. Chain break fell approx 3"" & struck hand, resulting in a fracture to the left ring finger.
