## Narrative

Employee using a hook to remove cuttings from a lathe not realizing that there were cuttings still attached to the hook cuttings balled up and ripped out of his hand. The lathe was off and it was the movement of the hand that caused the cuttings to catch was wearing gloves the cutting sliced through and cut open his thumb requiring ten stitches from the medic.
