The employee was attempting to connect 2 drill steels together.He used the roof bolter's hydraulic feed pressure to assist in this task.  His hand was positioned on the drill steels in a manner that the skin between his thumb and index finger was pinched by the drill steels when they came together.Stitches were received and the employee returned to work.
