## Narrative

The no. 4 unit tailpiece was being pulled tight by a scoop . The victim had set the ratchet jack and pipe on the right side of the tailpiece looking outby. No jacks were set yet on the other side. The chain pulling the tailpiece broke and allowed the tailpiece to travel toward the header under tension. It pinned the victims leg between the ratchet jack chain and the mine rib.
