## Narrative

Injured employee was installing roof bolts when the drill steel became lodged in the chuck.  During his attempt to free the steel he accidently hit the rotation and the steel swung out and struck his left hand and elbow. He completed his shift then went to the ER were he was diagnosed with 2 small fractures in the center of his hand. He returned to work on his next shift.
