At approximately 9:00 PM on 4/14/2010 while working at the emergency hopper, employee was using a 12 ft. long, 1/2"" diameter air lance to help wet raw shale from sticking to the hopper walls. Employee was stretched out pulling on the lance when he felt a sharp pain in his lower back.
