## Narrative

Section foreman was bent down in the #4 entry, approx 4' inby the outby corner, next to the right rib. Scoop operator was backing into #4 to clean entry in front of feeder. Scoop operator did not see section foreman because the foreman was bent down picking up a notepad. Battery tray end of scoop struck foreman and fractured left femur, pelvis and ribs.
