## Narrative

The miner crew was loading coal in the no.4 face in the middle lift cutting bottom when the ignition occurred. The cut was approximately 20 foot deep with .40% to .50% methane on the monitor read out. The flame was orange and blue in color and one fire extinguisher was used to extinguish the flame that lasted approximately 30 seconds.
