## Narrative

EE had gone up into the cab of the Cat 988H loader he operates approx. 15 min prior to shift. The EE caught his heel on the steps while descending from the cab & fell striking the right temporal area of his head on a 1"" diameter steel rod at the rear of the machine. The rod is used to secure wheel chocks during normal operation. He received multiple injuries to his skull.
