## Narrative

The miner operator was cutting in #10 entry on #2 Unit.  He had approximately 10 foot cut out of the right side, when he was struck by a small piece of flying metal. The piece of metal struck the employee in the left nostril, embedding the piece of metal in his nose. He was transported to the hospital,where the piece of metal was removed. He received 5 sutures to close the wound.
