## Narrative

Employee was preparing to remove a large piece of metal from a compressor room and removed the safety bar across the back of the door in order to open the door and removed the metal.  The employee proceeded to step through the doorway without recognizing the 2 foot drop to ground level and fell through the opening landing on the ground below on his right side.
