## Narrative

Working as a Utility man cleaning and conducting plant maintenance, the worker was removing the bottom section of a return roller guard that is hinged on one side and bolted on the opposite side. As he removed the nut securing the guard, the guard swung down and the corner struck the back of his right hand. This resulted in a laceration, requiring five stitches.
