The employee was installing roof bolts in the #3 right crosscut (3rd bolt in the 3rd row) when a kettle bottom measuring 70"" X 57"" X 0 to 8.5"" fell & struck him on the left side & trapped his left leg under the rock. A co-worker removed the rock from his leg. First aid was given and emp. was transported to the hospital.
