## Narrative

Employee was holding a hydraulic hose on a continuous miner looking for a leak. He requested the pump motor be started. When it started another hose near his hand blew oil under pressure cutting his finger shooting oil into his hand. He was given 1st aid and continued to work. He began missing work on April 12, 2011 to have surgery for infection in his hand.
