Employee did not know he had anything in his eye until he was at home. The mine nurse checked him the next day but could not find anything. A doctor was able to find and extract a small piece of metal. This injury report was observed during an internal review of the 1st quarter reportable injuries. It was designated as reportable but not yet submitted.
