## Narrative

While extending a curtain during the mining cycle, employee hit the tip of his right index finger against a parked shuttle car causing pain. Employee finished his shift, on 4/29/2011 the pain continued to worsen; he was seen by a local physician who referred him to see a specialist on 5/2/2011. Specialist removed him from work to repair nerve damage on his finger.
