## Narrative

2 employees were in process of removing a pinion (bull gear).  In order to get the pinion ""pop"" an employee struck the pinion with a hammer.  The impact of the hammer caused a small chip to come off and strike another employee in the side.   The employee was evaluated and a piece of metal was removed-resulting in sutures.
