Employee lowered skip down & started to climb down into stope. He noticed slack in the cable, he put his foot on the skip bucket, the bucket fell from the hung position & the cable wrapped around his L. hand, pinching fingers. Went to medic, sent down for x-rays. Resulted in fracture to #5 finger.
