Emp. noticed red, swollen, red irritation on the left side of his navel on his stomach. He stated he was welding on ventilation fans the day before 8/4/11 and during the process a chip of slag or a ""pop"" of hot metal entered his shirt and he felt a burning sensation close to his navel. He went to the dr. and received an antibiotic. Emp. did not report injury until 8/5/11.
