Narrative

Injured was attempting to drop the miner cable from its hung position in order to move to the next cut. When he lifted the cable, a small piece of rock (2""x4"") fell from the top of the rib mesh and struck him on the upper lip of his face near his nose. The edge of rock lacerated his upper lip requiring sutures.
