Narrative

Employees were repairing an air line/manifold to a pneumatic blaster. EE opened the valve on the manifold when the valve the pipe nipple broke and the employee received a blast of air/rusty material to the left side of his torso. The employee was approximately 2' away from pipe opening. EE sustained bruising and abrasions to the left side of his torso.
