Narrative

The employee stated that he was splicing a miner cable. He had the cable lying on his leg and as he was cutting the cable open with a self-retracting knife, the knife slipped and he cut his leg just above his right knee. The IE was transported to the hospital, and received 6 sutures to close the wound.
