Narrative

Employee aggravated a previous back injury while performing regular shift duties. Employee states he did some light shovel before a pre-shift inspection. After the inspection the employee states he sat down in the break room to rest and upon rising from the sitting position experienced a sharp pain in his lower back. The injury has been diagnosed as lower lumbar strain.
