Employee was helping install a pot on a Joy miner. While going to install the conveyor motor, it slid down, catching the employees finger between the motor and pot, smashing his middle finger. Please note that an attempt was made to file this report on December 2, 2011 when MSHA's website locked up and again on December 5, 2011 with MSHA's ""service unavailable""
