Narrative

The mechanic was installing a serpentine drive belt on a 3/4 ton Chevrolet pickup. As he pulled on a 1/2"" drive, 16"" long ratchet to loosen the belt tension, he felt a sharp pain in his left rib cage. He reported the injury the following Monday. He was taken to a local clinic where he was diagnosed with a left rib contusion and was placed on restricted duty.
