Employee had finished welding and was cleaning up. He felt something in his left eye. He went immediately to first aid where it was identified that a small piece of metal had somehow gotten behind the safety glasses, that he was wearing, and went into the eye. He was taken to an eye doctor where a small piece of metal was removed and a prescription was issued to prevent infection.
