## Narrative

Employee stated that he was rubbing his left eye with his bare hand like he was scratching it. When he did this, it felt like something got into the eye. He saw the mine nurse after the shift and had it washed out. The next day, it continued to hurt and had to go to an eye specialist and have a small piece of rust removed from the left eye.
