## Narrative

Using a hammer and punch to knock pin out of boom of miner, a piece of metal either came off of hammer or punch, becoming lodged in the right side of neck. Employee was seen at ER, then adivsed to have it surgically removed. Employee returned to work the next shift, metal was removed on 1-9-12, returned to work on 1-12-12.
