## Narrative

Employee injured removing tailings waste from a disc filter. In an effort to dislodge built up material. Additional material fell from the disc filter onto the cover. This falling material stuck the cover and catapulted his hand into a piece of metal which resulted in an injury to the employee's right index finger.  This resulted in 5 to 7 days of modified duty.
