The #1 elevator was taken out of service fro bad bearings found in the tail sheave of the govenor rope pulley. The elevator was out of service from 9:15 pm on 2/23/12 until 12:30 pm 2/24/12 when the replacement part was installed. No individuals were on the elevator at the time the elevator was taken out of service.
