## Narrative

The injured was walking next to the #38 Roof Bolter preparing to spot bolts on a corner. A piece of roof rock measuring 48"" X 19"" X 9"" thick fell from the mine roof causing the injured to fall to the ground. He suffered a compound fracture to his left middle finger. The incident occurred on MMU 001-0, XC #152, between #7 and #8 entries.
