Narrative

Employee bent over to remove suction hose from Fletcher single boom bolter. He put his right hand on bolter head to gain leverage to remove hose. A rock measuring 4"" X 6"" fell from roof and struck employee on top of his right hand middle finger smashing the tip of his finger and causing a laceration requiring sutures.
