## Narrative

Striking a metal pin with a heavy hammer to remove it from a pivot area on a ABM mining machine, the pin broke and a piece struck him in the lower lip. Lacerating the lip. PPE was not a factor, rules/regs was not a factor, mining/systems was not a factor, miner knowledge could be a factor.
