Narrative

Operator was assisting in unsanding sump pump. The pump was raised out of the sump with a chain hoist. The injured operator was holding on to the discharge line when. The bowl and discharge line dropped about a foot pinching the operator's left thumb between the U bolt clamp and discharge line.
