The Hoistman was lowering the south conveyance down to the Galloway Deck with one Employee on the conveyance when the hoist suddenly sped up on its own. The Hoistman hit the e-stop button to stop the hoist. The hoist was shutdown and the Employee was transferred to the Galloway deck and raise to 2800 where he was able to come to the surface via the #2 Shaft.
