An employee was removing the pin out of the pivot of an ATRS with a hammer. When he got ready to strike the pin the hammer slipped out of his hand striking the victim in face breaking his two front teeth. PPE was not a factor, mining equipment/systems was not a factor, compliance rules/regs was not a factor, miner proficiency was a factor.
