The Blast Crew was preparing for a development shot. Terrain was rough, with steep slopes and numerous loose rocks. Employee was standing on a slight incline when his feet slipped on loose material and he started to fall backwards. As he stuck his hands out to brace himself, his left wrist made contact with a sharp rock, causing a laceration that required 4 stitches to close.
