Employee was@entrance to Chilton's warehse bay door.Bent over transport crate&picked up5 gal.bucket of paint by handle.As he was lifting bucket the handle broke.The employee lost his balance&fell back&struck wooden crate that was behind him.After several min.he got up&went to phone&called his supervisor.Floor was dry w/o adverse conditions.Lower back pain(strain)/injury.
