Narrative

While collaring a bolt hole with a jackleg drill, a slab of rock approx. 12"" x 12"" x 4"" fell from the top of the rib and struck the miner on the back of his left hand, cutting through his glove and causing him to sustain a laceration on the back of his hand resulting in six stitches.
