## Narrative

Employee was changing bits on the shearer and a small rock fell from between the shields striking the employee on the top of his hard hat. The clip on the hard hat adjustment liner caused a laceration above the employee's left eye that required 2 staples. The employee returned to work his next scheduled shift.
