Narrative

Shovel operator encountered sulfur dioxide gas during shift on 8/13/2012. Respiratory protection was worn. Employee called and reported off to the lead man on 8/16/2012 for his scheduled shift on 8/17/2012 claiming breathing difficulty. Employees physician placed him on no duty status effective 8/17/2012 during visit pending further evaluation.
