The employee was handling miner cable in-by the tailpiece of an inclined belt. A rock on the inclined belt came back in-by toward the belt tail. The rock fell off the belt tail striking the employee in the left foot. The employee sustained a fracture to the top of his left foot. He is back to work on restricted duty with no lost time.
