Narrative

While continuous miner operator was loading S/C, a loose portion of mine rib fell, striking him in the back, knocking him into the S/C. He was transported to a local helipad via ambulance and flown to St. Marys hospital in Huntington WV where he was treated for various injuries. Victim is in stable condition and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
